About AGSM

More than sports management.

AG Sports Management exists to help athletes, clubs, sporting organisations and commercial partners realise their ambitions through strategic management, international relationships and meaningful opportunities.

Sport × Talent × Business × Global Opportunity

We provide strategic support to athletes, clubs, federations, academies, brands and sporting organisations. We believe successful sports management is not simply about completing the next deal.

It is about building sustainable careers, commercial relationships and opportunities that create long-term value — with the client at the centre.

AGSM — AG Sports Management

The success of our clients is our priority. Because when you are happy, we are happy.

AGSM is headquartered in the United Kingdom, with presence in South Africa, Ghana, the United States and Canada. We are built to operate in any major international football market. Geography should never be an excuse for limited ambition.

How we work

Careers over transactions.

Building careers. Creating partnerships. Connecting markets. Delivering opportunities. That is the work — and it is done with integrity, discretion and a long view.

About the founders

Two medical professionals. Two football rivals. One global vision.

AG Sports Management was co-founded by AJ (Joseph Asiedu Amoah) and Kenny (Dr Kenneth Gyamfi), two medical professionals brought together by football, people and a shared belief that the right door can change a life.

Kenny is a Family Physician practising in Canada, while AJ is a Mental Health Specialist, player-welfare professional and international sports executive. Their backgrounds in healthcare have shaped the philosophy at the heart of AGSM: before there is a player, there is a person.

They believe successful sports management should go beyond transfers, contracts and commissions. It should protect the athlete, understand their ambitions, support their wellbeing and build a career capable of creating long-term value for the player and their family.

Joseph Asiedu Amoah

Co-Founder & Global Director · Operations, Global Partnerships & Club Liaison · Mental Health Specialist

AJ — Joseph Asiedu Amoah — is a Mental Health Specialist, international player-welfare professional and sports management executive with a multidisciplinary background spanning healthcare, corporate governance, international business, elite sport, sponsorship and global partnerships.

AJ holds an LLM in Corporate Governance, strengthening his expertise in governance, organisational accountability, strategic decision-making and the structures required to build sustainable organisations.

Today, through AGSM, AJ’s work focuses on international club liaison, global sponsorships, strategic partnerships, player representation, contract negotiations and creating international pathways for athletes.

Beyond the business of sport, AJ has a deep commitment to mental health, player welfare and global health-impact projects. He believes football and sport can be powerful platforms for improving mental-health awareness, supporting communities and creating meaningful health and social impact internationally.

He is particularly committed to fair access for African players — ensuring that geography, background or financial circumstances do not prevent exceptional ability from being seen on the global stage.

AJ is well travelled and values new cultures and relationships across borders. That international outlook is reflected in his vision for AGSM: ability is global, and so should the doors that open for it.

And when it comes to football, AJ’s loyalty is firmly with Arsenal.

  • AGSM leadership experience

    Rolls-Royce — Global Analyst

AJ’s international corporate experience includes working for Rolls-Royce as a Global Analyst, giving him exposure to a major global organisation and to complex international and multicultural environments. He later brought this global and commercial perspective into sport.

  • AGSM leadership experience

African Games — Sponsorship Executive Committee

AJ worked with Ghana’s Ministry of Youth and Sports through the Local Organising Committee of the African Games, serving as an Executive Committee Member on the Sponsorship Executive Committee within the wider African Union African Games framework. His responsibilities included sponsorship and commercial activities connected with the Games. He also led branding activities at Cape Coast Stadium, contributing to the venue’s presentation and commercial visibility during the event.

Kenny

Dr Kenneth Gyamfi

Co-Founder & Director · Executive Leadership & Strategy · Family Physician

Kenny — Dr Kenneth Gyamfi — is a Family Physician practising in Canada and Co-Founder of AG Sports Management.

His career in medicine brings to AGSM the values of care, responsibility, professionalism, confidentiality, sound judgement and integrity. He believes these same principles are fundamental when athletes place their careers and futures in the hands of a management team.

Kenny brings a strategic and people-centred perspective to AGSM, with a particular appreciation for the importance of an athlete’s physical health, wellbeing and long-term development.

For him, AGSM is about building an organisation athletes and their families can trust — one that pursues ambitious sporting pathways while never forgetting the individual behind the performance.

Kenny’s love of football extends well beyond the boardroom. He is a proud Chelsea supporter and has a lifelong relationship with the game.

Football loyalty · Chelsea

Different colours. One purpose.

AJ is Arsenal.

Kenny is Chelsea.

There is rivalry on matchday — and undoubtedly some disagreement when the two clubs meet. But their vision unites them.

Both are medical professionals. Both believe deeply in the responsibility of caring for people. Both love football. And both believe that athletes deserve honest representation, genuine pathways and management that cares as much about the person as the performance.

Together, they created AG Sports Management to combine sport, healthcare values, player welfare, international relationships, commercial expertise and a global outlook.

Their ambition extends beyond completing the next transfer. They want AGSM to help build careers, protect athletes, connect continents and create pathways for exceptional young African players to access stages that may otherwise have remained beyond their reach.

AJ and Kenny may wear different colours on matchday, but at AGSM they represent one badge, one purpose and one global vision.

People first. Players always. Pathways without borders.

Because when our clients succeed, we succeed.
