AG Sports Management owns and manages St James FC, a football academy in Ghana, established as an important part of our long-term commitment to identifying, developing and creating opportunities for young African football talent.
We believe Africa has an extraordinary depth of footballing talent, but talent alone does not guarantee opportunity. Many gifted young players face barriers including limited resources, inadequate equipment, lack of exposure, financial hardship and limited access to professional football networks.
We want to help change that.

More than a football academy
Develop players and people.
St James FC is not simply about producing footballers. Through the academy, AGSM aims to provide talented young footballers with a structured environment where they can develop technically, tactically, physically and personally — while being prepared for the realities of professional football.
Our approach reflects the backgrounds of AGSM’s founders as medical professionals. Player development should consider the whole athlete — including physical wellbeing, mental wellbeing, education, discipline, character and life beyond football.
From Ghana to the global game
A genuine pathway is the long-term ambition.
We aim to establish St James FC as a bridge connecting Ghanaian and African talent with opportunities across the international football industry. Through AGSM’s work with clubs, scouts, sporting organisations and partners, we aim to create academy exposure through:

Our objective is not simply to find the next great African footballer. It is to build an environment capable of helping talented young people turn potential into sustainable careers.
These are AGSM ambitions and programmes in development. They are not confirmed club partnerships, trials or professional contracts.
A founding principle
Opportunity should not depend on wealth.
A young player’s financial circumstances should never determine whether their talent receives an opportunity. There are young footballers across Ghana and the wider African continent with exceptional ability whose families may not have the resources to purchase boots, training equipment or fund international opportunities.
AGSM wants St James FC to become part of the solution.
Through partnerships with football clubs, sporting brands, corporations, foundations and international organisations, we want to provide equipment, development programmes, scholarships, tournament opportunities and international exposure to deserving young players. This is an AGSM partnership vision — not a list of confirmed sponsors.
